Bestillingskort - Staffelikort

Kortet er til en eldre dame, og kriteriene var at kortet skulle kunne stå som et bilde og det skulle ha bibelverset: "Sjå, eg har teikna deg i mine hender" med.
This card I made after request, and it should be standing and have the vers from the Bible on it, about how we are drawn in Jesus hands when he died for us at Calvary!
Her er resultatet/result:

Some details...

Challenges:
Scrappekammeret, Utfordring #8: Vintage
Papertake Weekly: Say it with flowers
Tuesday Morning Sketches #46: Favorite Color and Combo

I always seem to return to these "earth-colors", so brown, beige and white is definitely some of my favorites together! Glitterglue is around the picture and on the flowers I've made. I have also used glimmermist.

You can see the flowers - some bought and some made :)

Litt usikker på om det er 'vintage' nok, men hadde litt begrensninger i forhold til bestillingen. Så prøver, jeg :)
God pinsehelg videre!

Over a month since my last card...

and I spent that time... -singing, actually! :D
I'm singing with 4 great girls in a group called Praise Him, and we were invited over to Scotland to sing at the Gospel Music Convention there with 7 other groups from USA, Canada and Ireland!
Click here to see more about that amazing weekend on my other blog.
But now unto the card :)
I'm not quite sure wether this is just a Norwegian tradition, but when the youngsters are about 15 years old, they go to their Confirmasion ("konfirmasjon") in church.
I made a card for a girl called Julie (as you can see on the card),
and I'm attending both
Scrapping the music på norsk with 'MaiBonus Konfirmasjon'
and
Totally Gorjuss with Challenge 29 - pink and green
with this card:
The saying in Norwegian says:
"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift. ENJOY!"

I have used a bookpage from a Bible, and on the left here you can see John 3.16 in some pink. And then it's some glimmermist and glitterglue...
A real pinky, girlie card :D

Have a nice week everyone!
